I'll Wait For Silence

I'm just wondering if there is something beyond sleepy work, a boring life, and necessary school life that can make or break my future.

Oh yes. I'm still alive. But thanks to those aforementioned elements, I am struggling to find my muses so they can inspire me to write deviant things again.

If I meet them on the streets today amidst the rain and the gloomy gray skies, heaven forbid that I do not kidnap them, stuff them in my closet, and chain them on my bedpost so they won't fly off again.

But I know that creative muses need their freedom, too. Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to concentrate on other important things in my life.

Still, for just one day, can't I just laze around and do things that are not according to plan?

The Cookie Is Not Yet Expired

Just in case anybody's asking, I am still alive but unsure when to kick back the writing habits. Probably soon.

For now, I need to conceal myself from the world.

I'm a big fan of rock music, particularly those from the good ol' days that are supposed to be gone but are still remembered well and alive through the music created by these musicians... I'm talking about hair metal bands like Bon Jovi, Scorpions, Loverboy, Aerosmith, and Guns n' Roses.

So when I saw this article at Yahoo!, my initial reaction was, "Ooooh! Hair metal bands!" in a very excited manner.
Go check it out and be amused! Also, see if you can recognize or identify some or all of them:

The 25 Best Hair Metal Bands!

Before you travel to another country...

It's funny how the things you hear, read, or see about certain countries, cities, and cultures through the media can mold lasting impressions in our heads. Either we develop wrong perceptions or they make us think twice about the way we deal with people from other countries. I am not a big fan of xenophobia and I sure don't like racism and people who let their perceptions on other cultures get in the way of how they deal with them.

So basically this article can provide you with some answers to some of the world's "greatest" mysteries:

True or False: 10 Common Travel Beliefs

Maybe then you'll stop thinking that New Yorkers are rude and that it's always rainy in London. Oh yes, don't forget to make eye contact with the Japanese when talking to them.

Stupid People!

Some idiots turn fanfiction into a serious business, which is really, really, really idiotic to the point that they turn so anal about details and their purist personalities emerge to point out all the bits and pieces of wrong information and characterizations you have included in your little story.

Idiots. Get a fucking life.

Ooooof! Well this sucks. How do you tell somebody that they suck?
I know how mean I can be but I don't like making things worse for people who are looking up to me for support... and then I go telling them that they suck and that I don't deserve their attention. Gee.

Well alright, I will tolerate everything again and hope that this goes away. Ignoring sometimes helps but I know how being ignored feels like and I'm afraid that karma will get to me so I don't want to really ignore them.

For the meantime, I'll just try to be nice. TRY. So hard! Easier said than done because I am definitely not used to being "nice".

Earthquake in 2037?

This news that I read from Yahoo! really made me feel concerned about the people living in California: Big Quake Likely in Calif.

Well I am not from California but I could just imagine the reactions of people living in that state. Paranoia would be the initial reaction, perhaps. As for me, I'm rather shocked.Although on a much lighter note, I guess California residents and the local government can think of ways to counteract the effects of a strong earthquake because it's not going to happen until the year 2037.

And yeah, even if you're not a California local, don't rejoice yet. Who knows, the earthquake could find you next and shake your world like crazy. Yeaaah.

I don't really like people who just voice out their stupid opinions and nobody's even asking for them. The worse thing is, some of them try to make other people subjected to their opinions. Bad, bad, bad.

They're like burnt cookies that should be thrown away instead of eaten. They're full of carcinogens that will give you cancer.

A Silent Type, I Am!

I am not really a very talkative person. In fact, I prefer to stay quiet and I tend to avoid crowds. I am not very sociable no matter what kind of situation I'm in. I normally have to gather my courage first before I could properly talk to somebody.

Apparently it's becoming a problem because most of the time, I fail to respond properly and immediately to people's questions and attempts to befriend me. Sometimes, I don't even respond at all especially if I don't like the person.

Well yes I am snobbish and a self-confessed elitist.

So to everyone concerned, I'm sorry. It's just me. But the strange thing is, I don't mind being ignored, either. It's like a way of life already, as a matter of fact. Selfish? Over-protective of the self?

I shrug.

This article from Yahoo! Hot Jobs made me think that maybe I should go on a career change... although I don't know where to start.
I'm basically interested in these careers:

Data miner
Behavioral Geneticist
Emergency Planning manager

But for now, I'll stick with my current one.

Ah. A journal.

And it's not just any kind of journal--it's an online journal that anybody can view 24/7 because it's on the internet.

This is actually the first time I ever get to blog on a public domain because usually, I would jot down all my thoughts in a regular diary-like notebook. I know it's a very old school and archaic way of keeping a record of your daily life but there is something about manually jotting down your thoughts that makes it all worth doing no matter how busy your schedule can get.

Except maybe if you've got carpal tunnel or you write like a 4 year-old.

As for me, it might take quite some time for me to get used to this. Otherwise, if I cannot stomach typing everything in here, I might as well use this page to type random things or ideas regarding stories that should be written but cannot be written.

!

I could be confusing you. Sorry. It's one of my bad habits. While incoherency is often my best companion, it is also my worst enemy.

For those concerned, I am also known as Cookie Cutter World from Fanfiction.Net. I lurk in other websites but I prefer not to disclose any other information about myself. Anonymity is still something I seriously value.
